JSE-EC07-450 Sidamo Battle Shield Earrings

These earrings were inspired by African art to complement the Tribal Mask line. They match the Contemporary Chikunga pendant colors (although the light is different in the photos, the colors are the same. The colors are truer in the picture of the earrings on my browser, although there is a bit of light reflection in the photo above that makes the earrings appear slightly washed out). They feature cabochons of cloisonné. The cabs are freeform shield designs measuring 32 x 21 mm and exhibit transparent shades of scarlet red, pale aqua, deep water blue, pale fuchsia and jet black. The cloisonné cabs have a fine silver base and wires and they are set in fine silver bezels. Each earring is accented at the bottom by a 2.5-mm sterling ball. Overall dimensions are 35 x 21 mm. The backs are patterned.

 The pair is stamped with the JSE initial and quality stamped with sterling. They are for pierced ears. The cloisonnés and the earrings were designed and hand fabricated by J. S. Ellington and they are one of a kind.

The earrings are sold in a black lacquered, cotton filled box with the J S Ellington logo. A signed and numbered certificate is provided in a packet which also includes care instructions.
